Phinisi – A traditional wooden boat originally from Makassar – South Sulawesi acknowledged as a historical legacy by The UNESCO was first time built on 14th Century by Prince Sawerigading from Luwu Kingdom. He built the boat using woods of Devata tree which was known as a sturdy tree. And the history said that the local villagers in Ara, Tana Beru and Lemo Lemo first helped him rebuilt his boat to a bigger boat and that wooden boat was named Phinisi means “A strong boat against the waves.

Terms & Conditions

1. Reservations

All cruise experiences are subject to availability. A reservation is considered confirmed once written confirmation has been issued and the required deposit or full payment has been received. We recommend securing reservations in advance to ensure availability, particularly during peak travel seasons.

2. Payment Policy

To guarantee your booking, a deposit or full prepayment may be required at the time of reservation. The remaining balance, if applicable, must be settled prior to the cruise departure date. Payments may be made via bank transfer, credit card, or other approved payment methods.

3. Cancellation & Amendments

Should you need to cancel or modify your reservation, we kindly request written notice as early as possible.

Cancellation charges may apply as follows:

  • More than 7 days prior to departure: No cancellation fee
  • 3–7 days prior to departure: 50% of the total booking value
  • Less than 72 hours prior to departure: 100% of the total booking value
     

4. Weather & Sea Conditions

The safety and comfort of our guests remain our highest priority. In the event of unfavorable weather or sea conditions, the cruise operator reserves the right to adjust the itinerary, postpone, or cancel the cruise. In such circumstances, guests will be offered the option to reschedule or receive a refund according to the operator’s policy.

5. Guest Responsibility

Guests are kindly requested to ensure they are in suitable health and physical condition to participate in the cruise experience. The cruise operator shall not be held responsible for any personal injury, illness, or unforeseen circumstances that may arise during the journey.

6. Safety & Conduct

For the safety and enjoyment of all guests onboard, all instructions provided by the captain and crew must be followed at all times. Safety equipment, including life jackets, is available onboard and must be used whenever requested.

7. Itinerary Flexibility

While every effort is made to deliver the planned itinerary, the operator reserves the right to adjust routes, schedules, or activities due to weather conditions, maritime regulations, or operational considerations.

8. Personal Belongings

Guests are encouraged to take care of their personal belongings throughout the cruise. The operator cannot be held liable for any loss, theft, or damage to personal property during the experience.

9. Special Requests

We are delighted to assist with special arrangements such as private celebrations, romantic dinners, or dietary preferences. Kindly inform us in advance so we may do our best to accommodate your request.
